No recovery panel showing

Thread needs solution

Help please!!

Just upgraded to 2016 program by download. Removed old 2010 version as instructed.
Backups done ok to external HD.

When I select any of the completed backups on the left panel to check recovery "NOTHING" appears on the right panel to select (as shown in help files?)
NO "select files and folders to recover" shown, just the standard backup window.

As has been stated on this forum by other members this is pretty poor work by Acronis. A product should be much better tested than this before release.

Any ideas as I don't have much confidence in Acronis bothering to sorting me out.

Lizenz in Betrieb nehmen?

Hallo peter.wyss19@blue

-----------

When you first open the Backup location in Windows on the external hard drive and then starts ATI 2016, then everything is displayed correctly?

Hi.

Tried everything but still when external HD connected and backed up files selected on left panel NO "Recover Files" dialog box appears.

As a last resort I downloaded the 2016 file again, after first uninstalling the first download, then installed the 2nd download. This has solved the problem and now the "Recover Files" dialog box etc. is there as it should be. I notice that on the desktop shortcut there is now a blue and yellow shield that was not there on the problem download which suggests that the first install did not go as it should.

I hope this helps other members who may get a similar issue in the future.
