Thread needs solution

Hi,

going through almost all iterations of ATIH I'm ok with simplifiing various aspects of the product, but I'm lost of the idea of not being able to actually find out what is going on or I'm just to stupid to find it.

Is there some way to find out what has happened in the past (like the calendar view) and actually what is happening now?

I just see "Backing Up". Is this an incremental or a full backup? Do backups get consolidated? Any information about the backup speed? Anything?

Can someone tell me where all the information is hidden?

Thank you for your feedback regarding the product functionality! The logfiles in the current versions you are only available in Acronis System Report. Unfortunately there is no way to check the detailed information about the running backup task. We have already received such feedbacks and your feedback will be also forwarded to our product management, so that my colleagues can have the full picture of the options which can be improved.

I miss the logfiles that were available in the old versions of of True image  (True Image 2014). I can not find the log and calendar view from the GUI for True image 2016. Will the view the logs option introduced to True image 2016?

There is no special viewing tool in 2015-2016 but the logs can be viewed inside Notepad by just double clicking the file named

"service+backup date.log"

c:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\logs

Easiest method and least inconvenient is to enable each task email notification so an email is sent to your regarding the success or failure of each backup.
