Takes too long to load UI

Thread needs solution

Just installed the 6/2 update of TI full version, local backup

when I launch the app, it appears in the task list almost immediately however it takes several minutes before the UI opens. This didn't start until the new version was loaded

after the update it was no longer aware that backups were current in place but will complete a backup upon request

this behavior didn't begin until new version was installed.

OS is windows 10 pro 64 bit

I do notice that TI appears to be a 32 bit app

I would suggest that you do a complete shutdown of your computer.  In Windows 10 this is a bit different.  By default Windows feature Fast Startup is enabled on Win 10 installs.  With that feature enabled by default the shutdown of old does not completely shutdown the computer.  Instead, choosing Reboot will shutdown and then restrat the PC.  Do that, then open the TI app and see if things change for you.

Yes TI is a 32 bit application.
