Yes, on your Win 7 machine you should check to see if .tib file associations are set to Windows file explorer and not some other Windows app. This happens for some reason on occasion and keeps things from working as expected.
Have a look at this link for a how to set file associations in Win 7 and 8.

In 2016, the more tools can also be acccessed from the Start menu in lower left corner All Programs Acronis TrueImage Tools & Utilities each tool indivfidually listed.

Thank you guys for your help. I tried to reset the .tib file associations to Windows file explorer. It was set to unknown and when I set to Windows Explorer the .tib file disappears and I have to do a restore to get it back and the same thing happens again. It is not a biggy I put a short-cut to the "More tools" folder and I can start a tool from there or in the start menu. I just hate to have anything that does not work a 100%!
Thanks guys have a great week-end

I have never seen any option in any of the latest versions of ATIH to install anywhere other than the default C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis folder. This came up recently with another user who had managed to change the default install folder on an earlier version of the product and then upgraded across several releases, but then came unstuck with ATIH 2017 which then forced the install back to C: again.
