True Image 2016 with Universal Restore - Recover converts Windows 7 MBR to UEFI/GPT

Thread needs solution

When attempting to recover Win 7x64 to new hardware, TI2016 recover converts the target disk to GPT with EFI boot System Area, but doesn't provide UEFI files and configuration. Universal Restore fails to find the restored Win 7. Therefore the new system cannot be updated and bootable.

I am not sure of possible options to resolve, but I can think of 2 possible: 1) Add controls to bootable Acronis 2016 so recovered disk and partition(s) are not changed. 2) If TI2016 can create required UEFI boot structure and configuration based on original MBR configuration.

Found workable solution to the issue. Renamed the "EFI" folder on the Acronis Rescue Media to ZEFI. That disabled UEFI boot on the Acronis media forcing Bios Boot. TrueImage recover formatted the drive properly and Universal Restore worked.
