Hello,

I'm trying to take backup image from Acronis bootable CD.  But I've gotten following error and can't continue backup process.

Error: "Acronis True Image has not found any hard disk drive"

Version: Acronis True image 2017

PC: DELL Inspiron 7000

HD interface: Pcie NVE

But SATA mode in the BIOS is now set to RAID mode.  I've found some articles that SATA RAID mode can not be detected any hard drives.  Is this true?  Or is there any solution?

Regards,

Welcome to these public User Forums.

The ATI 2017 boot CD is based on a Linux kernel OS for booting into the ATI standalone application, and this OS does not have device support for NVMe M.2 / PCIe drives and for RAID devices.

To perform this backup from rescue media, you will need to create WindowsPE media and add to that media support for RAID.

The MVP Custom ATIPE Builder tool linked in my signature can do the above for you to create either a boot CD/DVD or USB stick - selecting to add Custom drivers will inject the Intel RST drivers needed for RAID support which should then allow your drive to be seen.
