Thread needs solution

Hi.

 

My OS drive failed, so I decided to clean install windows on a new drive. When trying to activated Acronis, Acronis says my activation code is no longer valid.  How can I re-activate Acronis and re-connect my new computer to my old computer's backup archive? Thanks!

Please see KB document: 56598: Acronis True Image 2016: Activating a Full Version for general information on activating ATIH.

What actual version of ATIH are you using?  Is this 2017 (as per this forum) or do you have a different version, and if so, is it a full version or one that was supplied free with a HDD or SSD purchase from companies such as WD, Crucial, Seagate, PNY etc?

Did you register your ATIH license / serial number at the main http://www.acronis.com/ web site and create an Acronis account for the same?  If so, you can try signing in with your account user credentials (email address and password) in the ATIH application.

If none of the above is of help, then you will need to contact Acronis Support directly and seek help there as we cannot resolve activation / license issues here in the user forums, as we have no access to the systems involved.
