Cannot mount images
As a matter of process, I make image backups for clients with possible drive issues. I have been unable to Mount any of these images from Windows Explorer, receiving an error message of "Cannot mount this backup because its versions are stored in various locations".
These are simple images of the system hard drives, they are not incrementals. I used Default Settings to make them.
Am I missing something here?

Thanks for your help in advance, Steve.
I am using Acronis 2017 Build 8041. I am connecting the drives to a shop computer, where the application is installed, to make the images and storing them on that machine's slave drive. I recently upgraded my Acronis a few months ago and have not had an occasion to use this mounting feature until now.
I will have a look at those logs and advise shortly.

John, the other thought / suggestion is to do a Validation for the backup image file you are trying to mount and see what messages this either pops up or gives in the validation task log file?
I am wondering if you are using the same backup task on several different systems which could confuse the Acronis Database files which stores information about backup history and files? If you have been doing this, then creating a whole new backup task for each different system would be recommended.

IF the backup names are similar and there is a task already listed in Acronis with the same name, but from a different PC, that could certainly be an issue.
1) Try just double clicking the .tib file and navigating it that way instead of mounting it as a volume.
2) You can try remving the backup task in the console and then re-add it with the new .tib files to see if that works.
3) If 1 or 2 don't work, then try clearing the tibmount cache, reboot and try again as identified in this post:

try deleting all the files in C:\Users\[your_username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database
This has helped with others who can't mount or double click for one reason, or another.
