Must use Acronis USB stick to boot into Windows!
After cloning a Toshiba laptop harddrive to a .tib and then from that .tib to a new SSD drive (done this twice now), Windows does not boot.
It goes to a "Choose your keyboard layout" screen and the Advanced Recovery stuff.
I tried:
Troubleshoot -> Advanced Options ->Startup Repair but it couldn't fix it
I Turned Secure Boot mode on and off in the BIOS, still no luck
Under Command Prompt, I rand the bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot, still no luck|
I tried Use a Device -> Windows Boot Manager, no luck
Every time it comes back to the "Choose your keyboard layout" screen and the Advanced Recovery stuff.
So, on a whim, I put the Acronis USB stick back in, chose "Use a Device -> UEFI: USB", it brings up the familiar Acronis boot menu and I choose option "c".
c. Continue booting... and now I'm in Windows!!! So now I have to always use the USB stick to get into Windows. What gives? How does this let Windows boot?
Thanks for any suggestions!

PS. I update to the lated Acronis True Image 2017 right before making the Rescue Media Builder. Maybe a new bug?

Yes, the SSD received all the same partitions as the original drive - except for the main Windows partition had to shrink as expected. Also, the BIOS is the latest available and the primary boot was the HDD/SSD option - there was no specific Windows Boot Manager option from the BIOS.
Anyway, I put the original 1 TB drive back in the laptop and it boots normally as expected. So, I'm making another FULL .TIB backup of all partitions again (which I did before) and I'll know soon if ghosting will work this time.

So, after putting the platter drive back into the laptop and backing it up, I then put the SSD drive into the laptop (again) and before going through the restore process in Acronis, I tied to boot into Windows without the USB stick - and it worked!
Now it's booting into Windows as normal - and repeatedly so. I didn't have to restore onto the SSD drive. The SSD is the same one that was constantly booting in Advanced Startup screen repeatedly. So, I have no idea what made the BIOS/SSD happy - but it works. Maybe the laptop just needed to goodbye to the platter drive one more time.
Things like this keeps us humble, folks.

Eric, very strange that the SSD now is booting fine without any further changes being made after swapping the drives over and back again!
The good news is that all is now working and the end result that you were wanting is achieved.
