Questions about Multiple-PC License

Thread needs solution

I am a brand new user trying to make sense of a five-USer License of True Image 2017.

Are we supposed to have separate user names and passwords for each of the five PC's? That would only make sense but I don't seem to have had an opportunity to create additional logins.

As it is, I am trying to login from the second PC we want to back up, but am being shown a red X.

Short version: Should I be creating a new username/password for each PC?

It is not necessary to create individual accounts (username/password).  On this second PC go to the Acronis support web site and logon to your account there.  Once that is done open the application on that pc and wihtin a short time the applciation should be regesterd to your account.

Even with licences for mutliple versions/releases of ATI, it's not necessary to create separate logins. I can login at Acronis.com, login once with single login, and see all the products for which I have licences.

Thanks for the reply, but this does not seem to be what is transpiring for me. I see an icon fo the second PC but the Dashboard only shows the other (first PC)

Dashboard will only show sytems that are connected and have had a backup run - that backup data is what shows up in the dashboard (at least for me).  Dashboard is a monitoring tool for existing backups.  Licensing is handled directly on each computer.  Dashboard aside, does your second PC show the Cloud account logged in?  If you log into your Acronis account on it, it should license automatically.  Otherwise, enter the key and it should show licensed that way.  If you want to use Dashboard, you need to be logged into the Acronis account (from within the app) on both PC's.

Thanks... I will give this a shot. There seems to be some sort of login problem with the second PC.
