Quotas are Violated
Hi, somehow my backups have gotten all messed up. I am backing up my computer to a LenovoNas which is almost full of tib files (almost seven terabytes). Here is one of the error messages:

This is my G drive which is two TB and there is about one TB of data on it. However in the True Image Interface where I have chosen to back up files and folders on my G drive, it says there is 4.4 TB of data selected, but the drive is not even that big. I'm confused.
Please help. Thank you very much!

Note: You should be using the option for 'Automatic cleanup' of your backup files within the backup task configuration options (on the Backup Scheme tab) but if you need to manually delete files from your NAS drive, then please ensure that you run a Validation for each task that you have deleted files from (i.e. the task that created the files you have deleted) - the reason for this is that manually deleting files does not update information which is held in the Acronis database files for your backup tasks - the validation will attempt to reconcile the database information with the status of actual files found in the backup storage location. You will need to take the Ignore option for each error message for a missing / deleted file during the validation.

It is all these massive tib files that are filing it up. Although I probably should not have, I got mad and deleted all the tib files. So now my NAS has 6TB of 7TB free. Strangely, the files and folders from my G drive are still showing that there are 4.4 TB of data, even though I have only selected about 1TB of data on a 2TB drive. And there is a big Red X with an error message:
Module: 23
Message - Additional Information
Error Code: 1007
Lineinfo: 0x3CA3D96ED04CD1ED
Fields: {"$module":"ti_demon_vs_8029"}
Message: Read error or data content is corrupted
If something is corrupt, how do I find it? And will these tib files just get massive again? Thank you!

I would recommend removing all your remaining backup tasks, especially any that have created files on your NAS that you have manually deleted so that the cleanup of the application database is done.
Next, how are you backing up here? If you are using the 'Entire PC' option and backing up multiple different disk drives in a single backup file, then I would strongly recommend no doing so!
Ideally, try to backup only one disk per each backup task you create, which in turn will make life a whole lot easier if you ever need to recover a drive, this should also make your backups smaller too, and any incremental or differential backups should be smaller too with only one source drive to identify changes for.
Creating new backup tasks should also resolve the issue with the backup size being incorrect.
This is essentially the K.I.S.S principle - Keep It Simple S.... (supply your own last word).
Note: You don't need to delete all your remaining backup files if you need to keep them as protection against any problems while your new backup tasks get established. Just make sure that you use unique task names and store your backups in separate unique storage folders on the NAS. Do not re-use the names of the old tasks or backup files to avoid any confusion.

After deleting everything, the Cloud backup seems ok so far (still in progress).
But on the NAS backup, I get the message "The backup is corrupted." How do I determine the file that is making this mess up?
When I started the backup, things seemed to be going OK. When I look at the NAS files, I see my backed up files and also, HUGE tib files again. So file size of backup plus the ever increasing TIB size may be messing it up. How do I handle the size of these TIB files?
Thank you very much.

Can you post the log files for the NAS backup tasks so that we can see exactly what messages are given for these. Some screen shots of the files you are seeing on the NAS would be helpful too.
