TI 2017 New Generation

Thread needs solution

I downloaded and installed TI 2017 New Generation, the installation uninstalled my existing installation of 2017, but every time I attempt to start it it tells me my machine must be rebooted first, been through it three times but still get same message.

Looks like there could be a problem with the installation. Try rerunning the installation program (make sure you select 'run as administrator') and select 'repair'. If that does not work, try uninstalling ATI 2017 and then run the ATI Cleanup tool: https://kb.acronis.com/content/48668

Glad to know that the issue is gone!

I have checked the database of known issues - we don't have this issue registered yet. If anyone else faces that problem with Acronis True Image 2017 New Generation (build 6116 as of January 23rd) - please click Help tab - Send feedback, make sure to keep "attach system report" checkbox and submit the message. That will allow the Development Team to see what is going on with the program, why it keeps asking for reboot. Then you can apply the workaround with running the cleanup tool.
