Trying to delete folders

Thread needs solution

Every time I do a restore I've got these 2 folders on my d: drive and I don't know how to get rid off them ? Does anyone out there have the answer.

kipper, sorry but too little information to work with here?

What are the folders, how are they named, do they have any content?

Are they found in the backup archive image that you are restoring from?

the folders are named win7 and win10, there are no content in them and you were right they are in the backup archive I am restoring from (I think) can it it be somewhere in some boot partition, at times it feels that way, Hope these was a bit more for you to hopefully help me.

I would recommend checking carefully that there is no hidden content in these folders before you delete them.

For the actual deletion, I would recommend booting the system from one of the many available Linux Live CD distros and using the Linux file manager to do this.
