Very Disappointed with Partition Managment of Restores

I just upgraded to a bigger SSD, using Acronis True Image 2017. I did a Backup and a Restore and all is working fine...But my new SSD has a lot of Unallocated Space, since I have pratically the same partitons as the old SSD.

It's very disappoiting that ATI doesn't give me the option to resize the partitions at Restore time and ATI doesn't have any tools for partition management so I can resize the partitions afterwards, eliminating the Unallocated Space.

Right now I have to use more third party tools like MiniTool Partition Wizard Free Edition, whereas I could just have it all inside ATI for a complete and seamless experience.

Also, the description of the partitions are not the same as they where on my original SSD, there was some OEM related descriptions on the partitions and they are gone now. Not a big deal, but shows some inconsistencies.

Michel, this is a known situation and normally occurs when some issue occurs during the restore or where Acronis cannot automatically resize the partitions stored in the backup archive for some reason.

Personally, I find using the MiniTool Partition Wizard a very easy way to remedy such issues, and have recommended other users to do so rather than try to fight against the Acronis restore options to get the automatic resizing to work.

Sorry but not sure that I understand the above paragraph, especially when the new drive is of a larger size and a different physical drive?

Yes, I used the MiniTool Partition Wizard for resizing my partitions, it worked perfectly, my complain is that I needed it in the first place, this kind of tool should be part of ATI, as you said it's a very normal case, and yet ATI doesn't covert it.

Sorry it's hard for me to explain since this information was in my old SSD, so I would have to reinstall it to see it again, but when I opened Windows Disk Management, the information under each partition was different. Now it says "500 MB NTFS Healty (Primary Partition)", but I remember there was something as "OEM Partition", such as in here.
