ATI 2018 on Mac OS X High Sierra and APFS
So I upgraded to the final version of Mac OS X High Sierra which obviously converted the filesystem of my Macbook Pro to APFS.
I was shocked to realise that ATI 2018 doesn't support APFS, yet.
In a few days (September 25th) Mac OS X High Sierra will be the operating system that will be offered to all Mac users and they will start to upgrade very fast.
When will you offer an updated version of ATI 2018 which will support APFS?

Hi,
As I stated, Mac OS X High Sierra will be the current version as of September 25th. That's seven days from now.
Mac OS X users are known for upgrading their operating system very quickly.
As ATI 2018 has just been released I'm more than surprised that it's not useable on a modern operating system.
I also doubt that Mac OS X High Sierra is unsupported, as I can still backup external disks with FAT32, exFAT and HFS+.
APFS volumes are not selectable for backup.

Max, I understand your position and frustration but am unable to do anything about it as just another user in these forums. Please do open a support case and make these points directly to the code owners.

Got it.
Does it mean Acronis never replies to topics like that in this forum?

One of the Acronis folk may reply occasionally but that is not guaranteed unless you shoot off a Private Message to draw their attention to a particular matter. You are welcome to try sending a PM to Ekaterina who is the forum moderator.

Hello Everyone,
We're working on the new Update 1 for Acronis True Image 2018, which will address the lack of support for High Sierra and APFS. The released version is expected by the end of the month. I'll post an announce once the new build is available in Acronis True Image for Mac Forum.
