Cloning Lenovo Y900 IdeaCenter SSD gets error in last 5 seconds
Error message: "Missing iaLPSS2_GPIO2.sys to install Serial IO GP10 Host...."
Cloning Liteon LCH-256 to Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB. So close.
The system boots with device errors in Device Manager.
I can re-install the Intel device drivers and get all of the Intel Serial IO host controllers and Management Engine Interface device errors cleared, but I can't get the NVIDIA or Realtek Sound controller drivers to load/install.
This leaves me without High def sound (any sound actually).
Everything else goes smoothly up until the last 5 seconds.I don't know if any other error would appear if not for this one I'm reporting.
Any know issues with Lenovo or suggestions on restoring NVIDIA and Realtek drivers?

The error displays during the reported "last 5 seconds" of the cloning process, before the shutdown/reboot. The message requests a file not in the system directory of the source or destination drive. The system boots to Windows after the restart with no warning or error messages, just the System Devices driver errors upon inspection in Device Manager.
I think you may be on to something with the new drive issue. The new SSD is installed in the same bay/cable/power as the previous SSD so in that respect it does connect identically.
Fortunately, I am still able to use the old drive.
I've run more than a half dozen cloning operations with the same result.
I might try to do a windows recovery to the hard drive to see if that builds the system on the new drive correctly.

I was able to successfully clone the drive using the latest version of Samsung Data Migration Tools. One shot and 25 minutes to copy, verify and done. This option uses the source installed and the destination on the USB cable.
I have probably 8-10 hours troubleshooting the device driver issues related to Intel IO, NVIDIA and Realtek and 8-10 ATI disk cloning attempts. I was beginning to worry about damaging the connectors on the drives with all of the swapping out. Quickbooks Connect and License errors too, all gone. Maybe should have tried the ATI Unix Boot and copy options.
I guess someone else can figure out the issues out someday.
I liked the ATI interface and control better, but could not get the result.

Ken, glad you have found a solution that worked for you, that is the most important point in any of these exercises. Thanks for the feedback.
