Differential backup speed improvement for Acronis True Image 2018?

Thread needs solution

The announcement for True Image 2018 says " New! Faster Incremental Backup for disk and partition backups with Acronis Changed Block Tracker (CBT). The Volume Tracker reduces the amount of time taken to perform incremental or differential images by monitoring the changes to an image in real-time mode."

Does this also apply for differential backup? I do a full backup every 7 days and a differential backup for the intervening 6 days. Will these differential backups also be faster for True Image 2018 (and, if so, by roughly how much)?

If differential IS faster, then you owe it to yourselves to add it to your announcement materials!

Tony, on the main Acronis web site announcement for ATIH 2018 it clearly states as follows:

Changed-Block Tracker

Reduce the amount of time it takes for incremental and differential local image backups. Our technology monitors changes to an image in real-time, which can make incremental backups up to three-times faster for small changes (less than 30 percent of a disk).

Your answer is in the quote you provided  ( The Volume Tracker reduces the amount of time taken to perform incremental or differential images by monitoring the changes to an image in real-time mode.)

Oooops. My bad. ... I was looking in the wee hours of the morning and didn't even notice what was right before my eyes.

Lol, no worries.
