How to split Tib file
I just started backing up to the interwebs. One of my old backups which is about 120 GB is not split and just 1 huge file.
When backing up to the internet and at my connection speed it normally fails midway. That said I would like to split so I can upload 10 GB a day or so.
Any options? Also it does not need to remain in Tib file extenstion. Of coarse for backup I will have to.

This is a full hard drive image from 8 months ago that I want to split into smaller files. Are you able to help with that?

Anthony, sorry but there are no Acronis tools provided for the purpose of splitting any existing .tib files, and it would not be recommended to do this other than by letting ATI produce the split files during the backup creation process.
See webpage: Best free File Splitter and Joiner software for Windows 10 - for general utilities for splitting / joining files, but if you decide to use this type of utility, then I would strongly recommend testing the process by splitting then rejoining a test .tib file, then confirm that you are able to validate the .tib file after it has been reconstructed from the parts.

My only suggestion would be to try and .zip it with 7-zip (free and awesome tool). You won't get any compression from zipping it, but it probably will allow you to break the .zip file into smaller chunks. As long as the chunks aren't corrupted during upload or download later (the MD5 checksum matches before and after), you should be able to then unzip back to the original .tib and still use it for recovery.
Ultimately though, you need to consider setting the file size of the backup before it's taken as this will be more reliable. I personally have stopped using the default file size and set my own preference to the 25GB default "blu-ray" size, just because 25GB seems more manageable. If you ever plan on using FTP or a FAT32 formatted drive, then you'll have to consider 2GB.
