Previous backups are not being deleted during a Single version scheme
I recently upgraded from Acronis 2015 to Acronis 2018. Acronis 2018 automatically recognized my previous backups. I double checked the options and only the error handling setting was different. Two of these backups have a backup scheme of "single version". They run successfully, however, they are not deleting the previous backup.
Also, the notification email only states the backup name in the subject line. It used to say "<backup name> Task Completed Successfully" (or failed, as the case may be). Any way to get "completed successfully" back into the subject line?
The 2015 notification email used to end with:
45 Information 9/22/2017 7:01:40 PM Operation has succeeded.
The 2018 version ends with:
2017-09-24T19:01:02:753-08:00 9588 D00000000: Scheduler event handler succesefully destroyed
Besides the misspelling of successfully, is "destroyed" normal? This terminology makes me a bit uncomfortable when performing backups.
Thanks for your help/suggestions.

I don't use email notifications so am not the best to respond. However, what settings do you have checked?
https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATI2018/#38808.html
Additional notification settings:
- To send a notification concerning process completion, select the Send notification upon operation's successful completion check box.
- To send a notification concerning process failure, select the Send notification upon operation failure check box.
- To send a notification with operation messages, select the Send notification when user interaction is required check box.
- To send a notification with full log of operations, select the Add full log to the notification check box.

Carol, as already mentioned by Axho in the reply above, this looks to be caused by upgrading from ATI 2015 without first uninstalling that version.
See KB 60122: How to upgrade to Acronis True Image 2018 which in the Upgrade Procedure section states:
If your current version of Acronis True Image is Acronis True Image 2017 or Acronis True Image 2016, the new version will simply update it; there is no need to remove the old version and reinstall the software. If your current version is older, we recommend that you remove the current version, first.

Thank you all for your help. Somehow I missed the documentation regarding deleting version 2015 before installing 2018. I deleted everything, reinstalled, reconfigured the backups and all of the weird messages in the backup notifications regarding things being destroyed disappeared. It did not delete the backups that were done under 2015 but did delete the previous versions done under 2018. I manually deleted the prior backups. I found the Additional Notification Settings and tweaked them to what I wanted.
Once again, thank you all for your suggestions!!
