Target drive is running out of space prompt

Thread needs solution

I have read the messages from people who complain about inaccurate "Target drive is running out of space" prompts.

I can't see anything that relates to what I see.

Yes, the drive indeed may be running out of space, but if I click the Browse button in the Acronis alert I just get the Windows notification that brings up the prompt. In other words, I am in a closed loop.

What is Browse supposed to achieve?

Michael, I haven't seen this pop-up message in a long time so have no recent experience of clicking on the options being offered!  Given the context of the message, I would have expected that the Browse button would offer the opportunity do what is displayed, i.e. "Delete unnecessary files or choose another archive location."  If this is not the case then I would suggest raising this as a Support Case to report it as a potential 'bug', especially if this just seems to put you into a 'closed loop' situation!

Thanks. I would expect to see something along the lines you suggest, and not the closed loop.

Will persevere and gather more evidence.
