Acronis 2019 USB does not get recognized at start up on UEFI PCs

Thread needs solution

On a Dell 7550, I disabled Secure Boot and tried all other kinds of settings. It will not boot from the drive.

Is there a way to add UEFI capabilities to the USB drive? or recreate a bootable UEFI disk with what I have and just move the Acronis file over?

It works fine on the older ASUS computers

John, welcome to these public User Forums.

All of the Acronis bootable rescue media is capable of booting in both Legacy and UEFI BIOS boot modes, so there is no need to try to add such capabilities provided the media has been created directly from the Acronis media builder tool.

It should also not be necessary to disable Secure Boot if you are using the Acronis 'Simple' Win PE version of rescue media.
