Acronis True Image 2019 file restore
In Acronis True Image 2019 if I restore my disk by files and not by disk will is still boot, I would already have the UEFI needed boot partitions on the drive so only restoring all my c:drive files. The reason I am asking is i want the right order of the efi partition along with the other boot partitions up front the way they should be in the right order.
Thanks

Ditto to Steve. Also, we've had a lot of topics in the past about the order of the partitions after a restore.
Ultimately, it makes no difference where the MSR lives - it has no real use and cannot contain data - it's essentially a place holder. Wikipedia:
A Microsoft Reserved Partition (MSR) is a partition of a data storage device, which is created simply to reserve a portion of disk space for possible subsequent use by a Windows operating system installed on a separate partition. No meaningful data is stored within the MSR; though from the MSR, chunks may be taken for the creation of new partitions, which themselves may contain data structures.
Also, not sure if you've experienced this yet or not (happened to me quite a bit), but Windows 10 upgrades will leave your old recovery partition at the front of the disk and then create a new one at the end of the disk at some point - leaving a waste of 500MB of space at the front at some point. The only way to reclaim it is using a 3rd party tool like Minitool or something along those lines.
My "new" recovery partition doesn't even have the recovery label in disk management anymore. I can validate it is what it is using a comparison of diskpart and reagent /c info though. Thanks Microsoft for keeping things "nice and neat" as they should be :)
