Cloning is not copying??

Thread needs solution

I right clicked a backup schedule and clicked 'Clone settings', that gave me a new backup schedule which I changed some options for, but then I noticed that the right mouse popup menu for the 'original' and the 'clone' are different.
Why is that? Is this a bug or does this suggest that there is a coupling between the two? If so, what coupling?
(Am I asking because I doubt that I would want those dependencies)

Jan, this is working correctly as intended and as described in the ATI 2019 User Guide:

Clone settings - creates a new empty backup box with the settings of the initial backup and named (1) [the initial backup name]. Change the settings, save them, and then click Back up now on the cloned backup box.

The intent here is not to create an identical clone of your existing task right down to the Source & Destination selections etc, but rather to clone the settings to allow the creation of a new backup task based on the settings used for the original task.

Any cloned task needs to be reconfigured after the new settings are shown in the GUI, hence you do not see all the same options in the drop-down menu for the task, only those that apply to the new task in the current state it holds.
