Disable a backup
I have two backup routines for separate drives. I want to "not schedule" or disable these temporarily.
I was able to not schedule one but the other one I get this....
"Failed to deploy task. Restart your computer and try again. If the error persists, check your Antivirus settings"....and
More information about this error and solutions may be available online in the Acronis Knowledge Base.
To access the online resource manually, enter the event code at: https://kb.acronis.com/errorcode/

Restarted the PC but the same problem....Norton Antivirus...not sure how it applies as the first backup I was able to set to No Schedule.
Any ideas.

Bobby, I haven't seen this particular error being reported here as far as I remember, but there is a way remove the scheduling for one or more backup tasks by using the Acronis Scheduler manager program (see link in my signature).
Each backup task has a unique script identifier which is used for scheduling the task - these can be found in the C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts folder in the form of XML data files with an extension type of .tib.tis - you can open these in Notepad and find the associated backup task name near the top of the file.
Once you have the script identifier, then you can use this with the Scheduler Manager tool as described in the linked KB document. Use 'get list' for a list of all scheduled tasks, then either use 'task zap' to remove all scheduling, or else follow the guidance in the KB to select your specific task by the script identifier and remove just the scheduling for that one task.

Thanks Steve,
I'll have to pass as I don't know the parameters, etc. for the commands from the help given.
Not a big deal...I will let it run...just a data HDD > backup HDD...not system.

Bobby, the schedmgr.exe tool is very simple to use in practice.
First, run the schedmgr.exe as Administrator and it will open a Windows Command prompt type window.
Next, in that new window, enter get list then press enter, and you will see a list of all scheduled Acronis tasks, similar to below from my system:
If you only have the 2 tasks in your main ATI GUI then you can just enter task zap as the next command in the window above, and it will clean out all the entries shown without causing any problems for your task other than having no schedule now!
The above image show doing exactly those actions on my own computer, i.e. using task zap then get list to see the new list with just one entry for acronis_drive.exe (used for mobile backups). Any other entries will be automatically recreated by ATI when it is used if needed. You would need to reconfigure the schedule for any of your backup tasks when you want to reinstate this.
