Anton, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but too little information to understand the issue here?

How are you trying to copy from the HDD to the SSD?

What application are you using?

Are you doing this from within Windows, or are you booting from rescue media?

When are you seeing the error message about the kernel panic?

Hi.

I am using the "clone disk" application from within Windows.

As soon as the application asks for a restart and I accept the computer turns of and on. after a few seconds the program starts running and i get the message.

Please see forum topic: [IMPORTANT] CLONING - How NOT to do this - which was written after dealing with many cloning issues in the forums.

What version of Acronis True Image are you using here?

Anton, create a new rescue media - make sure to create it using the advanced option and select WinRE.  Once created, boot from it and start the clone from there.  I have a feeling that the Linux enviornemnt (booted into after Windows reboot) is lacking a driver to preform the clone.  Plus, if you have anything like secureboot enabled, or are using disk encryption, this is not going to work when starting from Windows either.  Cloning, for the most part, should take place from rescue media for the best chances of success and to avoid corrupting your current working Windows OS bootloader on accident.
