Erase cloud backup and start again

Thread needs solution

Hello. I am running out of space on my cloud backup (Acronis True Image 2019, 500 Gb). I think that if I erased all backups and started again, I would be okay for some time yet.

How can I do this?

Scott, welcome to these public User Forums.

The simplest method of erasing all your Cloud backups would be to use the Delete option for your Cloud backup task in the ATI main GUI.

Scott, I would suggest to also set retention rules for your backups to control the number of versions in the backup and not lose the whole backup: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATI2019/index.html#…

In addition to the above, it is possible to reduce the size of an existing backup in  similar way. To do this you need to open ATI, then select "Account" on the left-hand side, and then on the right-hand side click on "Open Online Dashboard".  In the Dashboard select "backup", this displays a listing of cloud backups. Select a backup using the mouse and a cogwheel appears on the right, click on the cogwheel and select "Clean-up". You will then be prompted for the password. Once entering the pass word you can then choose the parameters for the clean-up (similar to the one used when creating a Cloud backup).
