How do I read the .tib files on a laptop that doesn't have Acronis installed?

I'm backing up files to a NAS with my desktop and then would like to access these backups on my laptop remotely. How can I do that when they're stored in the .tib format? Is there a reader?

Anthony, sorry but there is no reader for .tib files - you will either need to have Acronis True Image installed on the laptop or else boot the laptop from the Acronis Rescue Media into the offline ATI application.

OK, got it, thanks. And how do I know how many devices my license supports?

You can either try to install another copy of the software and see if you see a warning as shown in KB  61162: Acronis True Image 2019: "You've exceeded the maximum number of activations for this serial number"

Alternatively, sign in to your Acronis Account and check what is shown there for the number of licenses owned.
