Location of the Acronis Drive virtual file

Thread needs solution

After using Acronis to backup our Galaxy S10 phones, we found that Acronis creates and saves the backups to a virtual drive on our Windows 10 PC.  This leads to a few questions:

FIRST, why is Acronis using this approach with phones?  What if we just want to back them up to a standard folder like other backups, is there a way to configure that?

SECOND, where is the Acronis Drive virtual disk located?  The Windows disk management tool shows a few recovery drive partitions on one of our physical disks, but we see no labeling that would identify any of them as an Acronis virtual drive.

Thank you for any assistance.

The Acronis Drive location is as defined by the user in the Settings page of the main GUI.

See the User Guide: Local destination of mobile backups

Answering in reverse order, sorry but no, you cannot backup mobile devices to a standard folder like other backups, this is due to different protocols in use in communicating between the PC and mobile device.
