Problems with Cloud Backup – Stuck in “Calculating time remaining…”
Hi,
I’m using Acronis True image 2019 on two of my PCs (Windows 10 pro 64bit). On both machines I have backup schedules of the whole system disk to an external hard disk as well as to the acronis cloud.
The automatic system backups to external storage work very reliable without any problems so far.
BUT (encrypted) system backup to the acronis cloude only works very unreliable… Sometimes it works flawlessly but frequently it get stuck directly in the beginning, when it says “Connecting to Acronis Cloud…” - “Calculating time remaining…”. When the backup Is stuck in this stage it is also not possible to pause/stop it manually (It then just get stuck in the “Processing…”.
The only thing which temporarily helped so far at this stage is restating the computer and use the “Acronis Scheduler Manager” and delete the running task…
Noteworthy, I have this exact same problem on both, my Computer at home and my Laptop at a different place… On both machines I checked the connection to the Acronis cloud by “AcronisCloudCheck” and it seems to bin ok…
