Any update on being able to open or mount a tibx file.

Thread needs solution

I am thinking of installing an older version of Acronis - I have been waiting for the ability to either open a TIBX file somehow or mount the file to get previous versions of files and lost data. I don't want to have to restore a whole hard drive just to find something I need.

Archiving is not a good answer! I could use WinZip for that. I like how I used to keep full backups of my drive - you never know when the need for something might happen. Zip files are not the same.

It is (and has always been possible) to open *.tibx files via Explore or through the ATI interface (recovery tab). What is not possible as yet is to mount them.

With the release of Update 3 of TI 2020 I am able to mount tibx files.  Some users report it does not work for them so your mileage may vary.  Mounting was discussed to some length in the Thread link below:
