Cannot see NAS when using Bootable media

Thread needs solution

I have an Asustor 1004T V2 NAS. I can see it in Windows, but when using bootable media it is nowhere to be seen. Anyone have a fix? Thanks

Ryan, welcome to these public User Forums.

How are you connecting to your network when using the Acronis bootable media?

If you are using wireless, then there is very little support for wireless adapters in the boot media, so you will probably need to use a wired network connection.

What happens when you boot to the boot media, select Backup or Recover My Disks (which ever you are attempting to do), then select Network at the appropriate time?

After some time has passed you should see an option that displays Entire Network.  Select that and wait, you should see a root option after that.  Once that shows begin typing your NAS path into the field at the bottom of the screen beginning with \\ slash marks.  The app should then at some point while typing the path begin to display possible path options for you to choose.

It is a wired connection.

First thing would be to verify you have an IP address in the boot media.  Are you able to confirm that the temp recovery environment is getting an IP and can ping other resources on the network (such as the NAS)?

If so, then I would do as Enchantech recommended.  Instead of using the default NAS or local network in the Acronis dropdown, instead, start typing the NAS IP in the search bar such as

\\192.168.1.100\ (whatever your NAS IP address is).  When you enter the first \ at the end, that should prompt for credentials to authenticate at that point.
