File-format .tibx

Thread needs solution

I am a long time user of ATI.

Yesterday I upgraded to Version 2020. Now I am reading there is a new file format ".tibx".

Can I go on using my old tasks? They are creating complete backups an the files still have the ending ".tib".

Or must I - to be protected - create all backuptasks new?

Uwe, your existing backup tasks will continue to use .tib file format, as will any new Files & Folders backup tasks, but any new Disk & Partitions backups will now use .tibx format.

There is no need to create new backup tasks if the current ones are doing what you need at this time.

Note: ATI 2020 adds a new option to make a Replica to the Acronis Cloud which is only available for the new .tibx file format.  Replica isn't offered for local destinations (cloud only).
