How to recover TIBX backup

Thread needs solution

I have TI 2020 and have made several incremental backups for my system disk. It creates a file TIBX and confirms that the backup was successful. However, a message like "Last backup (date/time)" is missing.

Under Recovery it shows that no backup has been made. "There is no data to restore. Create your first backup so that its contents are displayed here."

A previously created backup in old TIB format of another disk shows when the last backup (date/time) was made.  And under Recovery I also see the various older versions to choose from.

How to recover?

Theodor, there is a known problem where the Recovery panel is not correctly populated with information about backups!

To resolve this try one or both of the following actions:

Select your backup task then open the task menu by clicking on the caret 'v' to the right of the task name.

Select Validation and run this for the task.  Note: this can take a while to run.

If validation doesn't resolve the issue with the Recovery panel, then try the next step.

Click on the option to 'Add existing backup' - this is found hidden under the caret to the right of the normal + Add backup option.

Select the most recent .tibx file for the problem backup to be added.  This again should help try to resolve the correct linkage between the files and the Recovery panel.
