Move function fails for FTP backups

Not a new problem - I just got it in ATI 2019, too. When trying to use ATI to move FTP backups (which are still .tib in ATI 2020) ATI reports that the destination has no free space. In may case the destination had about 3.5TB free space. It has a bit less free space now because I have been successfully copying the files outside of ATI. Hopefully I'll be able to do "Add existing backup" to get them back into ATI, but I seen to recall that that also fails for FTP backups. I will find out soon.

I was trying to do it from the GUI, but I gave up when it failed (with the same incorrect error) on both ATI 2019 and 2020. Instead I copy the files outside of ATI, did an ATI Delete, the added an existing backup (with the appropriate reconfig stuff).
I'm not terribly surprised that this did not work. The FTP support in ATI is not particularly robust. I am a bit surprised that the failure was due to (a supposed) lack of space. I'm also a bit surprised the the Add existing backup did work.

When it comes to error reporting in ATI or even in Windows most of the time the errors are less than intuitive. Suffice it to say that ATI interpreted the space on your FTP share to be to small for some reason.
I have had good luck with ATI finding existing backups and adding back into the Windows app. I can see where this may fail from time to time but in general I think this is a feature that works most of the time.
Sounds like extra work for you but also sounds like you go things in order or at least know how to do that now.

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong (although the process seems pretty straightforward). I'm not failing trying to move .tib backup from NAS to NAS on ATI 2019. The Move starts , thinks for awhile and then just dies - big red X between source and destination on the backup task. No error message. The Activity tab says the backup was moved successfully - 4 times. But it shows just one out of a dozen or so files moved. I could be having trouble with the target NAS, but all a bunch of copies I did earlier worked. It shows 3.22TB still available.
