Running multiple backup tasks

Thread needs solution

Greetings…
I use three backup tasks, which are not scheduled, but run manually when I deem it advisable. That is when there is any significant change in the system via software updates or new program added, or data files added or changed. That is usually a couple times a week, adding and/or editing photos.

Those three backup task create three tibx files on separate external drives. At times only one needs to be run, but occasionally two are all three task need to run! My question is, can more than one task be running at the same time in ATI2020? I haven’t been able to select two tasks in the 2020 GUI, or how to start a second instance of the GUI.

Is what I am trying to do even possible, and if so how??

Thanks much…… Robert

ATI can only run one backup task at a time; if one task is running and you want to run another task, then that task is placed in a pending until the prior task is completed. This is necessary when the backup tasks related to the same source drive as only one instance of VSS can run at a time - the mechanism for "freezing" the content to be included in the backup.
