User-AppData not showing in recovery folder tree

Thread needs solution

I've read the other posts about problems with User AppData folder on the OS drive in Windows. The folder does not show in the Recovery file folder tree so it's not easy to restore. I did discover that I could search for specific files in that directory and restore them individually, but without the ability to restore the entire folder, the backup of this data is not usable. Very disappointing to discover this is apparently a known problem and not addressed for months or years. And my recommendations to a senior developer community have probably resulted in hundreds of purchases of your product. Still good, but this is an unacceptable problem that should be addressed.

Running latest 2020 version on W7 and W10.

Skip, welcome to these public User Forums.

The views shown in the Recovery panel of the ATI GUI follow the View rules on your computer as set for Explorer in Windows.

If you want to see hidden / system files then change the Explorer view options to allow this then retry the Recovery panel in ATI.
