Why is Acronis filling up my backup destination drive.

Thread needs solution

I use Acronis for work.  I build computers that go on equipment.  the versions of windows that are used are stripped as much as possible.  I only add drivers or software that is needed to use different cards or small programs to run the I/O on the machine.  I copy the hard drive from these computers, and place the images on a 4 TBD.  then recover the images to new hard drive when i have to make another computer to be placed on new equipment.  I have not made any images that were saved to the destination drive that stores the different images for some time now.  this destination drive hasn't had much space used up on it.  I went to restore and image and it says that the 4 TBD is full.  why would this drive suddenly fill up. Does Acronis save anything information when Backups are restored?  this computer that is used to run Acronis is dedicated to Acronis only.  It doesn't perform any other functions.

Dustin, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but too little information to start even guessing at why your 4 TB drive is full or what it is full of?

What version of Acronis software are you using here?  Is it Acronis True Image or a different Acronis product?

What files are shown on your 4 TB drive, what file extensions do they have?

How are you copying / making images of the source hard drives to the 4 TB drive?
Do you have a scheduled backup task that is run automatically?
Are you using bootable rescue media to do this?
