Win10 0xc000000e error after Acronis 2020 backup

Thread needs solution

I have run the Acronis disk backup twice on a laptop, and after it finishes, Windows fails to boot with an 0xc000000e error.  The only method to recover is to run a bcd repair (see: youtube[DOT]com/watch?v=81iXN-ENb8s or similar posts to fix the error.)

All other indicators (ChkDsk, and Spinrite) show no disk errors.

Any assistance towards avoiding this at every backup would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Robert, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry to read of this issue but it is not one that I have seen myself or have seen reported in these forums that I am aware of?

How exactly are you performing the disk backup on the laptop in question here?

There should be no reason why ATI 2020 would touch the BCD configuration data when doing any type of backup operation, so this is both puzzling and alarming.

What version of Windows OS is on the laptop?
