Anyone else having problems with ATI Cloud ?
My ATI 2021 is currently acting a bit weird. I am getting errors when trying to run backups that go to cloud storage, and my cloud archive has currently disappeared and instead appears as a broken backup! (I can tell from what's in "restore" That it is actually my "missing" archive.)
Problems started yesterday on build 39184, I decided to uninstall the software and do a clean install of b 39216, this seemed to fix the problem until I realised I'd missed a folder from one of my backups, edited that backup, and then the problem occurred again.
If I hadn't just renewed for another year I'd be looking for another solution already! Perhaps this is telling me I should dump it anyway!!

Thanks Ian.
This is odd. Seems my server is cloud-wr-us2 - but I'm in the UK and set my backups through the EU data centre.
Server seems OK.
The log file doesn't give much insight!

Steve Smith may well be able to sort this out for you.
How do you known the the server is cloud-wr-us2? The server should be listed in the backup settings, is that where you got it from?

Hi Ian
Thanks for your reply.
The web link you sent saying how to find out says to log into your account which is what I did
I'm going to have to contact support about this I think. Particularly if it does think I'm in the US when I'm not!
(The backup settings I think you refer to is the "Data Centre" in advanced settings when you first set up a cloud backip. Once this is set it cannot be changed, nor even viewed in the latest version of the client software)

Alan, if you are located in the UK then you definitely should be using the London Cloud servers, not any from the US. There can be profile issues with the Acronis Account - my own defaults to France for some unknown reason despite being only 30 miles from London! I know to check the Data Centre if creating an Cloud backup task and select the London servers.
There is no method of moving data between data centres that the user can employ, so you would need to setup a new task to the UK server, assuming your Cloud storage allows this, then delete any data stored in the US.
Contact Acronis to have them investigate why your profile has put you to the US servers and why there are issues with the backup operation.
