ATI 2021 Slow Backups with .tibx

I think it's fairly well documented how poor the performance of the .tibx file format is for performing backups.  After upgrading from ATI2016 to 2021 I have been forced to obtain a refund and revert back to the 5 year old product.

Small incremental backups of ~10Gb were taking almost 3 hours which seems to have been a known issue since the move from .tib to .tibx and there doesn't seem to be a fix due any time soon.  As it seems Acronis have been aware of this issue since at least the release of ATI2020, for those stuck in the tiresome support loop that I was, I'd suggest you request a refund as they are knowingly selling a faulty product.
