ATI Home 2021, upgrade from ATI Home 2017

Thread needs solution

Can I update my ATI Home 2017, using this link ?

Do I get exactly the ATI Home 2021, or with some less options ?? Is that only for 1 year, or more ?

Thanks

Surprisingly, there is not (as far as I could find) information on how the content of ATI 2021 Standard (the perpetual licence) differs from the subscription versions. Based on comments made during beta testing, the features are similar to ATI Essentials subscription (which is US$10 more), reflecting no doubt the entitlement to use new version during the subscription period.

Hopefully Ekaterina will be able to give a definitive answer.

To upgrade to the Standard Edition (perpetual) any version of ATI can be used, including ATI 2017. A perpetual licence has no fixed period, although support is for a limited time, it ends shortly after a new version is released, currently that would be the release of ATI 2022.  You cannot upgrade to a subscription version, on the Standard Version. To get the upgrade in UK, see here.

Yet another edit: One of the "odd" things is that you can (as I understand it) upgrade from a single user licence, to a three user or five user licence at the given prices.

The UK page for an upgrade to the Standard Perpetual versions of ATI 2021 is here:

Webpage: https://www.acronis.com/en-gb/products/true-image/upgrade/

The perpetual version includes a 3 Month trial of the new Acronis CyberProtect feature that comes with the Advanced and Premium subscription versions of ATI 2021.  I would not recommend taking this trial as there are simply too many issues currently with CyberProtect that Acronis need to fix urgently!

I bought the 3 PC Standard upgrade for some of my own PC's and have turned off all the new Protection features, including the Ransomware protection that was working fine in ATI 2020!

Unfortunately ATI 2021 is now becoming bloatware with unwanted features that cannot be fully disabled as far as CyberProtect is concerned.
