bootable rescue media builder ---> iscsi Target

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I am using the "bootable rescue media builder" and it is working fine except for one thing.
When I create the boot.wim file and start booting on it, I would like to connect to an iscsi drive which is on my NAS.
The iscsi Target is attached correctly on my PC when I am using Windows 10.

On the boot media, I modified the startnet.cmd of the boot.wim image as follow :

wpeinit
Wpeutil DisableFirewall
Control.exe iscsicpl.cpl
pause
 "X:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\trueimage_starter.exe"

When the "iscsi initiator" is lauched there is no way to find a iscsi Target at the IP adress that I entered. (pingging that adress is OK !)

My question is :
Does Acronis or somebody in this forum have a procedure to connect to a NAS server using an iscsi Target to restore from there ?

Jacousky, welcome to these public User Forums.

I have no direct experience with using iSCSI devices and don't have any of my own.

I would recommend trying the MVP Custom PE Builder tool which can inject support for MSiScsi into the media it creates, which may help you with this topic.  See the link in my signature to the Acronis Community tools for the tool.

When using the tool you will see the following prompt:

:: Would you like to add MSiScsi support? ::
