TIH 2021 Causing Spontaneous Rebooting & Interfering with Adobe CC

Thread needs solution

Purchased and upgrade from a 3 PC 2020 version which ran fine. After installing the 2021 on 2 machines both began rebooting occasionally for no apparent reason. Both are WIN 10 Pro, one is Workstation. The 2021 TIH also began blocking portions of Adobe CC updates on the Workstation. Never installed the third license.

Uninstalled the TIH 2021 from both PCs and put back 2020. All the problems stopped.

I would love to continue as an Acronis user, but cannot have such issues interfering with the ongoing everyday use of the PCs in a business setting. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mooseman, the only thoughts that I can offer is that these issues are directly related to the new Acronis CyberProtect features in ATI 2021 which in the minds of many users have been a bit of a disaster!

Initially, if you are willing to test, I would recommend installing ATI 2021 then immediately disabling all the new Protection features, to see if all is still stable.

You would need to add Protection Exclusions for any applications like Adobe to prevent these from being 'monitored' by ACP!

Please submit Feedback to Acronis via the tool in ATI to communicate your concerns about the introduction of this new feature in its current unstable state!

Hello Mooseman,

thank you for letting us know about the issue! Passed to the RnD to find out whether we can improve the detection of Adobe programs.
