2011: Pre/post backup commands - Show cli output? Hide cli window?

Thread needs solution

Hello,

in the backup options one can set pre & post backup commands, it also works great for me, but there are two things I'd like to know if they are possible (not combined, but each for itself):

While the commands are executed, a cmd window is shown for TrueImageHomeService.exe:
1) Is it possible to hide this window?
2) As the window is already there, is it possible to display the output of my commands (batch files) on this window? Actually the commands I am executing have outputs and I am wondering, why they aren't displayed there?

Thank you very much!

You don't have control of have TrueImageHomeService.exe handles the sub processes.

Alternatively, you could use the Windows taks scheduler to run your batch and then the Acronis application. The benefit is that the batch file will be executed as a "regular" batch file by Windows, so the behavior will be what you expect.

See here how to use Windows task scheduler to trigger an Acronis backup.
