acronis 2009 - can't change speed / priority during backup - error - don't have appropriate privileges

Thread needs solution

I've always been able to switch priority from normal to high to low depending on what I am doing at the moment. it now won't let me do it. I wonder if it is a window's 7 bug. anyone else have this problem? I can set it anywhere I want when I design the task...

Hello Stephen,

Please be aware that officially Acronis True Image 2009 Home doesn't support Windows 7, so this is the most probable reason of the issue you have. Currently only Acronis True Image Home 2010 and Acronis Backup&Recovery 10 Family supports this operating system.

You can purchase an upgrade to Acronis True Image Home 2010 in our online store. I may also suggest you to download a trial version of the software in order to check how it work on your system.

Thank you.

great.... I am a loyal customer and now I have to pay more. Is this the reason it is suddenly creating a huge temp file that stalls my system whereas it didn't do that before?
