Acronis 2010 build 6053 damages RAID array on Windows 7
Hello,
After installing Acronis I ran a first backup of documents and settings.
It stopped after a few seconds and the PC was hung up. After rebooting I saw my raid array was damaged (INTEL MATRIX Storage manager) and was recovering. I waited 2 days until it was completely recovered and reinstalled the latest build from scratch.
I retried backupping some files.
Result: again a damaged array which is now recovering.
Please Acronis, fix this problem asap because the software is completely useless to me at this moment. In fact, it is dangerous for my data.
Hardware en software:
Windows 7 Ultimate
ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard
Intel core I7 920 @2,67 GHz
6 GB Ram
ICH10R SATA RAID controller
3 * Samsung HDD HD103UJ (1TB each) in raid-5 mode

Let me add a me too to this list. I am running a Dell with Win 7 Pro 64 bit and an Intel Matrix RAID Controller. I have had the same freeze and crash problem as described above. Build 6053 will not backup on this machine.

Like I said above... once I posted my problem in here... I received a PM from one of the Acronis guys and after validating my product... he sent me the solution (which was to d/l an iso for a build that worked)
I'm sure one of the tech guys will be in touch as they are a great company, and they'll sort your problem out.

Hello all,
Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. Let me address this situation.
This issue with RAID controller can be fixed by downloading and recreating your CD from the special ISO file.
I'd recommend you to download the version which is based on another loader (the version has some extended list of drivers and startup parameters). We have implemented the possibility to download the appropriate ISO file after logging into your account (the serial number should be registered). This option is available for the current and (n-1) versions. Please log in to your account, go to the Registered products and downloads section -> Bootable media. Download the file.
To get access to the ISO you should first register Acronis software.
You can find more information on how to burn an ISO image to a CD here.
Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.
Regards,
