Acronis 2012 Bootable Media and GPT

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I want to start using a 4TB drive for Backup and Restore.
My computer supports GPT and UEFI Bios.

1. Can I use the Acronis 2012 Bootable media to do this?

2. None of the Posts and Articles are clear on this question.

Thank You,
Mr. X

Tony,

You need to purchase the 2012 PlusPack to make the recovery environment GPT usable. TIH 2012 itself from within Windows is GPT and EUFI ready.

Is it from your or someone else's personal experience or is at a known limitation? IIRC, officialy Plus Pack adds only WinPE media and dynamic disks support, no new features regarding GPT disks are added,
