Acronis 2013 - How to backup when you have Program Files installed on >1 HD

Thread needs solution

My system has 3HD.  I've installed some programs on C, D, and E - so each has a "Program Files" and "Program Files (86)"  Is there some way to make a recoverable flash can restore all the programs from all drives while selectively including data from the 3 drive?

Alan, assuming that you are including all three drives locations for your Program Files folders in your backup image(s) then the normal default recovery / restore option is to restore disks / partitions / files and folders to the location they were saved from.

I have a system with multiple internal drives and although I have not spread my Program Files across these drives, I do make separate backup images of each of the drives to enable me to recover any one of these should a drive fail.

To answer you question about a recoverable flash to restore all programs from all drives...

The simplest method is to take an Entire PC backup, i.e. a backup of your C, D, and E drives all included in the backup.

You can then restore this as a whole if needed, or else you could just restore one specific drive or partition from the backup image as needed, but knowing that everything included is synchronised at the time the backup was created.

Please see the ATIH 2013 User Guide sections on Recovering Data that will give more detail.
