Acronis 2014 Loader Fatal Error: Boot Drive (Partition) Not Found Press Enter to try to boot your OS.
This msg on both HD & unusable CD. Pressing enter will load the OS but I would like the error msg gone. I would also like a bootable CD that works with the following hardware, if this info helps you. I pasted the below line from a forum member thinking it may lead me in the right direction
The Acronis moderator, Anton, sent me detailed instructions on how to create a WinPE boot CD

Is ATI rebooting the computer because you are trying to clone or to restore? Then it fails the reboot?

I am having the same problem after cloning my questionable hard drive. The cloning procedure appeared to work well, no error messages. But after switching the cables and resetting the BIOS to recognize the new drive I now get the above error message and have to boot Windows. This appears to be a common problem with True Image by the number of posts here, but there are so many ideas I have no idea on how to resolve the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same error (Acronis 2014 Loader Fatal Error: Boot Drive (Partition) Not Found Press Enter to try to boot your OS)
This error occurred after I tried to clone my operating system drive to a new hard drive. I used the Western Digital free version of Acronis, which has always worked in the past. After choosing the drive to be cloned and the destination drive, Acronis said it would restart the system, which it did, and that is when this error message appeared.
I can press Enter and get to my Windows XP SP3 OS, but I would like this message gone.
I tried the fix suggested in one of the forums of booting the Windows CD, to get to the System Recover Option window and then selecting command prompt in order to type Bootrec.exe/FixMbr. But I was never able to get to the System Recover option.
I'm guessing I have to fix the Mbr and would like a simple way to do this without the danger of corrupting my entire system.
Thanks for any help I get.

The same error with ATI 2016 ( fatal error: boot driver not found press enter to try to boot OS..).
When I switched in BIOS to boot order from legacy to UEFI, ATI 2016 is loading and raid1 mirror is ok too,
There were no problems with ATI 2015 in the same way using legacy boot devices.
My question:Is there an issue with legacy boot devices?- I´m using HP z440 with BIOS M60V1.58.
Thanks.

Acronis bootable rescue media is capable of booting in both Legacy and UEFI modes in order to be compatible with modern systems, however to use it you must boot in the same mode as your Windows OS uses. So if Windows boots in UEFI mode, then that is how the Acronis media must be used.
See webpage: How to check if my computer boots in UEFI or Legacy BIOS mode

Steve,
I have the problem with ATI 2016 too with our HP Z420 workstations too.
All legacy boot devives are avtivated, UEFI deactivated, normal WIN7 Pro 64Bit System.
The systems are still running all the time - if I want to make a backup of the systems with ATI 2014 or ATI 2015 there is
no problem. If I want to load ATI as boot medium there is the same error :fatal error: boot driver not found press enter to try to boot OS..
Thanks for your help
Best regards

mdo,
Please run the msinfo32.exe utility and look for the BIOS Mode information for each of your systems.
Example:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. A12, 8/28/2013
SMBIOS Version 2.7
Embedded Controller Version 255.255
BIOS Mode Legacy
BaseBoard Manufacturer Dell Inc.
BaseBoard Model Not Available
BaseBoard Name Base Board
Platform Role Desktop
Secure Boot State Unsupported
PCR7 Configuration Binding Not Possible
Windows Directory C:\WINDOWS
System Directory C:\WINDOWS\system32
Boot Device \Device\HarddiskVolume2
If your systems show BIOS Mode = Legacy as shown above, then this is the mode that you need to boot the Acronis Rescue Media.
If your systems show BIOS Mode = UEFI then you need to select the UEFI boot option for the device you are booting the Acronis Rescue Media from, i.e. UEFI DVD or UEFI USB boot device.

Hi Steve,
Thanks at first but problem not fixed.
This is the txt for BIOS. With this settings it is not possible to boot ATI2016 ( TIHWB2UKS ).
There were no problem on all PC´s using ATI2015 ( only ATI2014 with no included RAID1 drivers) to boot the systems for doing backup and recovery,
so I don´t understand whats the issue when there were no prob. with BIOS computer configuration with previous ATI versions.
I want to boot ATI2016 without changing our BIOS settings.
The problem is that ATI2015 is no longer available and we are only use Acronis Backup Software for all of our customer computer.
So it is very necessary for me to know how to handle this version of Acronis.
ALL of our Computer Recovery Images are running with MBR.
Thank You for helping me.

Hello mdo,
In your earlier post #5 you said: When I switched in BIOS to boot order from legacy to UEFI, ATI 2016 is loading and raid1 mirror is ok too,
Your computer definately uses UEFI and you seem to be wanting to make it boot in Legacy MBR mode which won't work.
You must boot the ATIH 2016 boot media in the same mode that Windows uses.

Hello Steve,
In my earlier post with UEFI -this was just a test to look if ATI2016 is booting under UEFI, because there was the fatal error when trying to boot with legacy boot devices. All images are MBR. When you have a look on the sent BIOS settings you see that UEFI is disabled and only legacy boot devices are ready for boot sequence and there were no problems with previous ATI versions. I tested the scenario now on Z440, Z420, Z400 all with legacy boot devices as BIOS setting to try recover images -no way to boot ATI( fatal error), only with enabled UEFI I can load ATI. Under UEFI activated option I can load our images on hdd, but the systems cannot boot because the images are all under mbr and we don´t want to change neither BIOS settings nor create new images.
So I need more help.

Mdo, sorry but I am struggling here to know how to help you further with this requirement to boot into Legacy on systems that use UEFI even though you say this is disabled but the ATIH rescue media boots in UEFI mode correctly.
Please post the Summary information from running msinfo32.exe from within Windows on this system as I do not recognise where the previous lengthly settings came from with all your BIOS settings data. I would expect to see a similar summary report to that attached below if your system is booting in legacy mode.
