Acronis archive compression levels

Thread needs solution

Hi all.

I want to backup my C drive. When i in process, in step of compression levels there are different options.

I want to know, that if i choose maximal compression (the size will become less), my archive will have problems?

Or what are the difference between compression levels.

Thanks.

No, there's no problem with using maximum compression, just that it will take a little longer to create the archive.

Compression % varies depending upon the nature of the data compressed. When using the default compression of a common system including OS, user data, etc., I think it's around 60%-70%. My system doesn't get compressed much if I do a full disk backup, because most of my data are music files which are already compressed.

I regularly use maximum compression to save space on my backup drive.

OK, but only will slow backup, or restore will be slow too.

Thanks.

Probably each will be somewhat slower, but it's not a big deal. I use maximum compression.
